christmas day

we spent christmas morning the four of us--low key with a few presents from santa, big lego sets from us to the boys and with cinnamon rolls :) we also got in a few rounds of mad libs before heading over the farm. this may be our last christmas at the farm as grandma and grandpa have been looking at other houses. they are looking for a house with less up keep--i totally get it but it is hard to think about....

We keep a game book--every time we play I write down who plays, who won, what game, fun quotes, etc. I've had this book since Christmas day 2012 unfortunately I lost game book #1.

date with lukers

today lukers and i took a date at the local motel--to swim in their pool :D we spent a good hour and a half splashing, swimming, lounging and just relaxing! it was wonderful!!! oh and the black eye is from a "street hockey" incident yesterday.... total accident where luke's eye connected with jack's stick. poor buddy but seems to be doing okay. at least i hope so.... very little pain and swelling has improved.

christmas eve

per tradition, we spent christmas eve with lynda and john.... and of course this year tj too :) in past years, we have spent it at our house but this year we shook up the snow globe and went to their house. we had a lovely afternoon of relaxing and visiting, a crazy standing room only mass, awesome steak dinner and a good time watching teenage mutant ninja turtles as a fam.
