life is really about the small things--these two things made our day
1. a ride in the little league "gator" when we were running late for t-ball pictures and NO WHERE near the picture spot.... OOPS! this mama didn't know where she was going! the vehicle stopped, two gentlemen got off, giving us their seats and away we went for pictures!
2. a bandaid from a kind worker at meijer--luke was crying over an invisible owie....a red spot that looked irritating but probably not work crying over. the gentleman looked over, smiled and offered to get a bandaid for luke. in the process, he also made him feel better by telling luke his own story of getting cut at work today and needing a bandaid.
thank goodness for kind people in our world!

deep thoughts with jack handey
nope just kidding but deep thoughts with jack and luke (for those of you who are NOT snl lovers....jack handey was 'da bomb and you can you tube him)
so tonight we had pretty deep conversation over our BC Pizza dinner........... Jack and Luke talking about living next to each other after they grow up, getting jobs such as archaeologists or police/firemen, or perhaps meteorologists.....getting married and having children......luke informed jack he will be marrying jacquelyn (sweetie pie friend of ours) but if jack had kids and needed help, luke would move in so jack's kids could have two dads. they chatted about this for quite some time and went off on tangents but the sweet thing is it all came back to them agreeing that they need to live near each other when they grow up :) ♥

mmmmmm i love beans. funny that as a kiddo i hate them but as an adult i thrive on beans (except hard skinned kidney beans--don't like those)

need:
refried beans
shredded cheddar
cholula sauce
tiny bit of paprika
minced garlic (dried--penzey's)
do:
mix
microwave
eat with chips

i am now in love with cholula sauce
